Yes. That’s often the way these Trusts work. You can be the beneficiary yourself, or you can make it anyone else (it can even be multiple people). And of course, you’ll also name at least one charity to be the final beneficiary.

You can set up income distributions from a CRUT to come monthly, quarterly, semi annually or even just once a year.

The IRS mandates that income from a CRUT must be more than five percent, but less than fifty percent of the Trust’s total assets.

CRUTs are set up to terminate on a specific date. That said, if all beneficiaries pass away prior to that noted date, the remainder of the Trust would be distributed to the charity at that time.
